UNSEALDAY POLICY
Terms of Service
Intended effective date: official service launch
1. Purpose of the service
UnsealDay publishes the titles of members' records immediately, keeps their content private until a chosen time, and then opens them.
2. Sealing records
Drafts can be edited or deleted freely. When a record is sealed, its title becomes public immediately. Neither its author nor moderators can change its content, title, or opening time. Before opening, the content is hidden from the author and other members. Authorized moderators may access it when needed for operations, and every such access is audit-logged. Moderators may restrict access in response to rights infringements, legal requests, security incidents, or other necessary circumstances.
3. Membership grades and moderation
Grade 0 is the super administrator. Other grade names and numbers are configured under our operating policy, with lower numbers representing higher authority. Grades may grant permission to view sealed content, close member accounts, suspend writing privileges, or manage hidden records. Actions against members are limited to those with lower authority. Key moderation actions, including hiding and restoring records, are audit-logged.
4. Sign-in methods
Members may sign in with an email address and service password or a linked Google account. New Google members must also set a service security password for important actions such as sealing records, issuing certificates, viewing account details, and deleting their accounts. Existing and Google accounts are linked only when a signed-in member explicitly connects them in account settings.
5. Account deletion
Deleting an account removes its drafts, email address, nickname, Google account connection, and login information. Sealed records remain under the service's immutability principle, with the author anonymized as 'Deleted member'. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
6. Prohibited content
Do not post other people's personal information, illegal material, threats, defamatory content, malware, or content that infringes rights or violates applicable law.
7. Opening times and outages
Opening times are determined by the server clock. If the service is unavailable, records may become accessible after service is restored.
